General Shipping, Returns & Insurance Policy
By accessing and using this website (www.commandelitehobbies.com) and purchasing products from Command Elite Hobbies Pty Ltd ("we," "us," "our"), you, the customer ("you" or "your"), agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made via our Website, including gel blasters, knives, and related accessories.
1. Shipping
1.1. Command Elite Hobbies ships orders worldwide.
1.2. Items are typically dispatched within 24-48 business hours of checkout. Exclusions to this include weekends, public holidays and Emergency closures. If you opt to pay for express shipping, please consider the previuously mentioned circumstances.
1.3. Orders placed before 1:00 pm Brisbane, Australia Standard Time (GMT+10) qualify for same-day dispatch. Certain items, including those labelled "Order-In" may require up to 5 days for processing prior to dispatch.
1.4. Orders flagged for potential fraud may be held for review and are excluded from the above dispatch timeframe. You may be required to provide proof of identity before an order is released.
1.5. Upon fulfilment of your order, you will receive notice that your order has been dispatched and you will be provided with your AUS Post tracking number.

2. Returns
2.1. Customers wishing to request a return must first contact our staff, who will assess whether the item in its current condition meets the requirements for a return.

When Shipping please label as a return to sender shipment and include your full name as seen on the original order.
2.3. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
2.4. If your return is approved and a refund is issued, the original shipping cost and the cost of return shipping (if applicable for exchanges, warranties or repairs for example) will be deducted from your refund unless otherwise required by law (e.g., in the case of a major fault under the Australian Consumer Law).
3. Interstate Laws
3.1. Under Queensland law, gel blasters are classified as toys, and Command Elite Hobbies operates lawfully as a toy store.
3.2. Command Elite Hobbies is not a firearms dealer and has no means, ability, or legal obligation to check licences, verify permits, or facilitate compliance checks for customers.
3.3. Customers located outside Queensland acknowledge that gel blasters may be restricted or prohibited in their State or Territory. By purchasing, you:
- Accept full responsibility for ensuring the product is legal to import, possess, or use in your jurisdiction;
- Confirm you hold any licence, permit, or exemption required by your State or Territory laws; and
- Agree that Command Elite Hobbies bears no liability for unlawful possession, seizure, fines, or penalties arising from non-compliance with interstate legislation.

4. International Orders
4.1. Command Elite Hobbies will liaise and facilitate the export of all international orders.
4.2. The buyer is solely responsible for:
- Obtaining any import permits or applications required for entry into their country; and
- Paying any import duties, customs charges, or fees arising in the destination country.

5. Insurance
5.1. Paid postage orders automatically include insurance for goods valued up to AUD $100.00.
5.2. Customers who wish to insure goods above this value must select and pay for additional postal insurance at checkout.
5.3. Orders shipped under free shipping promotions are not covered by insurance. Customers who select free shipping accept full responsibility for loss or damage once goods have left the care of Command Elite Hobbies.
5.4. Liability for goods transfers to the buyer once the order has been lodged with the carrier, except where insurance has been purchased.
6. Age Restrictions – Knives and Gel Blasters
6.1. Purchases of knives and gel blasters are strictly limited to individuals aged 18 years and over.
6.2. No person under the age of 18 is permitted to purchase knives or gel blasters from Command Elite Hobbies.
6.3. Gel blasters may be used by individuals under 18 only if:
- The item has been purchased by an adult aged 18 or over; and
- The use occurs under the direct supervision of that adult;
- The use is for a lawful purpose and with a reasonable excuse (e.g., recreational play in designated areas).
6.4. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that these conditions are strictly followed.
6.5. All orders for knives and gel blasters will be subject to a mandatory photo ID check. This requirement applies to both in-store and online purchases. For online orders, valid photo identification must be presented upon delivery or collection before the order is released.
